Avery HR is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician for our clients in Brampton. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for cardlocks, fuel systems, fuel tanks, and fuel dispensers at various customer sites.
Salary: $24.00/hour (42.5 hrs/week)

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on cardlocks, fuel systems, fuel tanks, and fuel dispensers according to established procedures and safety

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, determine the root cause, and implement effective solutions

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, calibration checks, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry

Install, configure, and test new equipment and software upgrades, ensuring proper functionality and integration with existing
-
Respond to service calls and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain customer

Keep detailed and accurate records of service activities, including equipment maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts

Collaborate with customers and provide technical support, training, and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance best

Coordinate with the service team and maintain effective communication to ensure efficient scheduling, timely completion of tasks, and resolution of customer

Daily travel across Southern Ontario a must.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is

Must be able to commute daily to the shop located in Brampton,

Experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, preferably in the petroleum industry or a related

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques for mechanical, electrical, and electronic
-
Familiarity with diagnostic tools, meters, and specialized equipment used in the
-
Must be mechanically inclined with experience in using hand and power tools
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and site attendants
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet
-
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including weekends and occasional travel to customer

Valid G Class driver’s license and a good standing driving

Able to lift 50 lbs
Good to have:
- Experience in the energy sector (oil and gas preferred)

Electrical knowledge

Forklift license

Confined space certification

Working at heights certification

Computer and Networking skills

Petroleum Mechanic certifications: PMH, PM1, PM2 and/or PM3

CNG or LNG cert
