Avery HR is currently hiring for our clients in the Orillia area. We are seeking Forklift Operator with Shipping/Receiving experience.

Salary: $20-21/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: 7am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday) 7am-3:30pm (Friday)

What makes you qualified for this role?

• 3 years’ experience in Forklift Operating (license required)
• 3 years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving
• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• Strong Mathematical skills (Imperial measurements)
• Computer literate with Shipping software knowledge an asset
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills
• Working knowledge of air tools, power saws, staple gun and strapping equipment

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all areas of shipping/Receiving
• Ensure proper protective equipment and guards in the workplace
• Following all safety procedures
• Good communication with internal and external customers
• Scheduling distribution of goods
• Prepare bills of lading
• Loading and unloading shipments
• Verifying bills of lading
• Skid preparation for shipping, box crating, shrink wrapping, strapping of products
