Avery HR is seeking a Head Retail Butcher/Manager, with a minimum five years’ experience, for our client located in the North York client area.
Pay: $28/hour
Hours: Tuesday- Saturday 9 to 5pm (must be flexible with availability)
As the Head Retail Butcher/Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our meat products while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
– Perform meat cutting, trimming, and preparation according to food safety standards
– Package and label meat products for display and sale
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butcher area
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling orders
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet production needs
– Adhere to proper food handling procedures at all times
Experience:
– Minimum five (5) years experience as a butcher
– Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knowledge of different cuts of meat
– Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
