Human Resources Generalist

70-75K salary with Benefits and room for advancement
We are looking for an intermediate level candidate with experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Review, revise, create and implement new policies and procedures
- Assist with strategic planning and organizational development
- Recruitment, interviewing, on boarding and training
- Review, revise and create Health & Safety protocols, manuals and training materials
- Act as back up for Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Assist General Manager with administration, documentation, mediations and union meetings
- Use of Ceridian Dayforce for employee data management, payroll, vacation and attendance tracking
- Act as point of contact for employee questions, concerns and documentation needs
- Ensure company compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Analyzing, tracking and reporting on employee performance, metrics and KPI’s
Qualifications
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resources or equivalent in experience
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Ceridian Dayforce experience is required
- Strong computer proficiency with MS Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Effective conflict resolution and mediation capabilities
- Union experience is preferred
