Job Position: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay: $20.00 per hour; temporary to permanent

Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Gather required tools and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Perform extensive testing on each tool to guarantee quality and functionality.
• Pack completed and tested assemblies, using suitable labeling and packaging materials.
• Maintain inventory of components using the Kanban card system.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Strictly follow company safety policies and procedures.

Education and skills:

• High school diploma along with a college-related background or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Two to three years previous experience with assembly and testing.
• In-depth expertise and skills with strong emphasis on electro, hydraulic, and mechanical expertise.
• Proven ability in both verbal and written communication.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Adept at using hand and power tools, particularly in electro, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient using inspection tools such as calipers, verniers, and pi tapes.
• Able to work efficiently with little supervision.
• Excellent computer skills.

• Safety Glasses
• Hearing Protection
• Safety Shoes (Met-Guard Type)
• Hardhat, gloves, face shield (as required)
