$34-$42 per hour (depending on experience)
Build new machinery and perform repairs to bakery equipment
Repair and replace defective machine parts, following the technical manuals, technical standards and company guidelines and procedures
Transfer machines to several internal sites when needed, either for installation or reparation
Collect and store distinct machinery parts, ensuring proper control to prevent of damaged or no conformance parts are used by coworkers, machines or equipment
Complete periodical checklist and and/or reports as necessary and make recommendations on machinery related- projects around bakery as needed
Perform preventative maintenance on misc. items around bakery (i.e. baking and Metro rack wheels, cooler/freezer door handles, fire extinguishers, minor plumbing, electrical and general etc.)
Resolving emergency equipment problems and take preventive actions to ensure the machines on review are not used until issues are solved
Experience / Education
3+ Years proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
Hands-on experience with food manufacturing equipment and machinery
Certification as a Millwright based on national standards, prefer red seal 433A.
Physical Demands (Frequency: 80%): Reaching, Bending, Standing, Carrying
