Press Machine Helper – Packaging Products

Location: Aurora

Pay: $22.88 per hour; premium for nights

Shift: 12-hour Continental Shift; two week rotation from days to nights

Responsibilities:

• Assist press operators with tearing down jobs and setting up new ones.
• Manage ink, including washing up inks in the printing press.
• Transport ink pails from the ink room and solvent pails from the solvent area.
• Move raw materials from staging areas to the unwind of the printing press and remove printed material from the rewind of the printing press.
• Remove waste from print rolls and either dispose of or recycle it.
• Remove cylinders and anilox rollers from the press.
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits to meet daily press goals and schedule needs.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with production of packaging materials is required
• Good communication skills
• Strong mechanical skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
