Production Lead Hand

Straight day shift Mon-Fri

$27hr with Benefits and room to grow

Qualified candidates should have experience with Extrusion, Fabrication and Assembly Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead team of machine operators, fabricators and labourers
• Schedule, direct and coordinate activities of shift
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings and ensure production accuracy
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues
• Maintain accurate production progress tracking and reporting any scheduling or material issues to Management
• Address employee performance concerns regarding attendance and productivity
• Guide, support and train team members.
• Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of experience in lead hand or supervisory role in manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication, organizational and conflict resolution skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to track and report on production progress and quality concerns
