Position:  QC Welding Inspector – CWB Level 1 Certified

Location: Welland, Ontario

Pay: $23.00 to $29.00, based on experience

Shifts:

• Nights: Monday to Thursday, 5:30am to 5:15am
• Weekend days: Friday to Sunday; 5:30am to 5:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor shift activities including welding, fitting, machining, and coating operations.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure all fabrication schedules are met safely, efficiently, and within quality parameters.
• Identify non-conforming items, report issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inspection reports.
• Promote a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications:

• CWB Level 1 Certified Welding Inspector certificate (required).
• 1 -2 years of QC experience, preferably in a steel or structural fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding symbols, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Familiar with quality control testing methods and welding equipment operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (heat, noise, dust).
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
