Quality Manager
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Salary: $85,000 annually + comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (In-office role)
Are you a driven quality management professional with a passion for continuous improvement? Join our team as a Quality Manager and lead the charge in ensuring excellence across all quality processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the Quality Department and generate performance reports.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to the internal Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Documentation: Review, approve, and maintain inspection, testing, and monitoring work instructions, as well as QA records and manuals.
- Training & Development: Create and deliver training programs and manuals for staff development.
- Auditing & Vendor Evaluation: Conduct internal audits and evaluate vendor and subcontractor documentation for compliance.
- Issue Resolution: Prepare and track corrective action reports, analyze costs associated with quality failures, and apply tools like 8D to resolve issues.
- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and identify training needs or skill gaps.
- Process Innovation: Design and implement new policies, SOPs, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment
