Our client located in Barrie is looking to hire a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join their team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Overview:

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems.

Duties:

Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration units
Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, motors, and valves
Install new refrigeration systems according to specifications
Test and inspect systems to ensure they are functioning properly
Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for refrigeration repair
Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to refrigeration units
Experience with appliance repair is a plus
Ability to weld is a plus

MUST HAVE:

• Applicant must possess a 313A license.
• A G1/G2 gas license would be a great asset.
