Residential Painter on Construction site

MUST HAVE A VEHICLE

Muskoka, Ont

Avery HR is seeking 3-5 Painters for residential painting on construction sites. This position is located in Utterson, Ont (near Huntsville) and is not bus accessible.

Shift: Day shift – start between 7/8am

Pay: $20-$25/hour based on skill/experience

Duties:
– Perform commercial and residential painting projects according to specifications and instructions
– Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
– Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
– Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage
– Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
– Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience:
– Previous experience in commercial and/or residential painting preferred
– Familiarity with hand tools and painting equipment
– Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
– Ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints
– Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
– Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs or preparation work
– Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
