Senior Construction Project Coordinator
Vaughan, Ontario
85k+ yr plus full benefits, RRSP and Profit Sharing
Responsibilities
- Coordinating, scheduling and building strong relationships with trades and sub-contractors
- Monitoring supply inventory and ordering materials as required
- Visiting job sites to take measurements and assess scope of work
- Generating PO’s and ensuring accurate billing, payment and invoice information
- Preparing and submitting daily and weekly status reports to Management
- Assisting with sourcing tenders, lead generation and preparation of estimates and quotes
- Manage effective communications with Site Supervisors and/or Project Consultants
- Tracking and monitoring life cycle of project through to completion and advising Management on any issues, delays or safety concerns
- Coordinating inspections, handling permit documentation, change orders and supporting Project Management team with administrative tasks
- Coaching, mentoring and training of junior associates
Qualifications
- Post secondary in Construction Management/Civil Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of experience in ICI sector
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, Procore and BIM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, great organizational and relationship building skills
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Ontario as required
- Valid G class drivers license with clean drivers abstract
