Electrical Assembler
Location: Newmarket, Ontario
Pay Rate: $23–$24/hour (starting)

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install brackets, hangers, and other supports for electrical devices, including control panels, limit switches, solenoids, and push buttons.
- Install various electrical conductor enclosures (e.g., conduits) to connect panels and machine-related devices.
- Prepare and install electrical conductors, secure connections mechanically, and insulate/protect connections as needed.
- Label installed electrical devices with appropriate I/O identification numbers using tags or labels (e.g., lamicoid or metal tags).
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, calipers, drills, soldering irons, and grinders.
- Assemble, repair, and test electrical control equipment, apparatus, and wiring for machine tool electrification.
- Read blueprints and specifications to plan and execute installations, including control panels, switches, solenoids, and other electrical devices.
Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary education in Electrical Techniques or Engineering is preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in assembly or panel building.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
