Salary: $35-40/hour
Hours: Day & Night Shifts (Night Shift +$4/hr Premium)
Avery HR is currently seeking a skilled Truck & Coach Mechanic for our client, a family-run business servicing the road construction, material, and maintenance industries in the Toronto area. If you’re looking for a full-time position and meet the requirements, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of vehicles and equipment including trucks (tri-axles, snow plows, live-bottoms) and paving equipment (skid steers, loaders, grinders, spreaders).
- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
- Work on road construction sites as needed.
- Travel to job sites using a company-provided truck.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Registered 310T licensed mechanic through Skilled Trades Ontario or 421A (Heavy Equipment).
- Experience working on a variety of trucks and paving equipment.
- Previous experience on road construction sites is preferred.
- Ability to diagnose issues and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Fabricating or welding experience is considered an asset.
- Valid G class driver’s license (AZ license is an asset).
- Must be available for both day and night shifts.
