Job title: Grooving Machine Operator – Brampton, ON

Pay: $23.00 per hour, plus shift premium

Hours: Nights (10:00pm – 6:30am); Sunday to Thursday

A grooving machine cuts or rolls a precise, narrow channel or “dent” into materials like stainless steel pipes.

Job Duties:

• Setup and operate a Stainless-Steel Grooving Machine.
• Select proper raw materials required for production.
• Complete production paperwork.
• Perform quality checks and record data.
• Roll-groove pipes and fittings to desired specifications.
• Package and label finished products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience operating a Grooving Machine or similar manual machine is required.
• Previous experience using metalworking machinery is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of general machining practices.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including hand grinders.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as pi tapes, verniers and calipers.
• Ability to read company drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of ISO processes.
• Desire to learn new skills.
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
