Job position:   General Labour – Retail

Location:           Vaughan (Weston & Steeles)

Pay rate:             $20.00 per hour

Avery HR is looking for customer service-oriented associates to work for a client at their Epic Spring Sale! Products include hand & power tools, workwear, safety equipment and much more!

Retail experience is preferred.

THIS IS A SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT.

Assignment dates:       April 17 or 18 (training and setup)

                                                April 20 to 25 (sale dates), with one day off

Work hours:                     6:00am to 3:00pm and 9:00am to 6:00pm; rotating schedule

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting with general labour tasks in a retail environment.
• Retrieving carts.
• Carry out customer orders
• Folding apparel and stocking shelves.
• Performing light maintenance and cleanup duties.
• Working inside and outside as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Steel-toed safety footwear (CSA approved).
• Business casual attire – shirt or vest will be provided on-site.
• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
