Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator

Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker/ Forklift Operator to join our client in Aurora.

Shift: Monday to Friday
Shift: 7AM – 4PM

Pay: upto $22/hr

Responsibilities

• Follow company Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring the safe and proper operation of all equipment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Safely and efficiently complete scheduled loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to achieve daily and weekly operational goals.
• Assist with basic metal shop duties, including handling, bending, and shaping metal materials as required.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Basic math skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong team-player mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience (counterbalance) required.
• Experience in the building supply industry is an asset.
• Familiarity with metal shop work, including metal bending and shaping, is an asset but not required.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

• Safely lift up to 80 lbs
