Job Title: Foil Stamping and Debossing Technician

Location: Scarborough, ON Job Type: Full-time Hourly Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected Hours: Day Shift – 40 hours per week

About the Role We are a leading Canadian manufacturer with over 45 years of experience in the document binding industry. As one of the largest suppliers in the country, we have six locations nationwide, and our Scarborough-based head office plays a key role in producing large-scale debossed and foil stamped projects. This position is crucial for ensuring top-quality production, consistency, and meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret sales orders and job specifications to ensure accurate production

· Retrieve and prepare dies and materials required for each project

· Set up and operate foil stamping, debossing, and die-cutting machines according to job specifications

· Adjust equipment settings (pressure, temperature, speed) for optimal quality output

· Collaborate with supervisors and managers to address quality issues and equipment malfunctions

· Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and inefficiencies

· Assist in training new employees and sharing knowledge on best practices

· Contribute ideas and suggestions for department improvements

Qualifications

· At least 3 years of experience in foil stamping (preferred)

· Minimum 2 years of machine set-up experience (preferred)

· Ability to read and understand technical documents and sales orders

· Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
