Automation/PLC Specialist

90-110K salary (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Programming Automation and Controls Systems (Allen Bradley)
• Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, testing and start up
• Develop and implement standard engineering practices
• Provide detailed documentation and electrical drawings upon completion of project
• Act as Technical Lead and assist with Project Management functions
• Conduct technical studies, equipment and systems performance audits and generate reports
• Test and commission systems at customer locations

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
• 5 years of experience in similar role
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Leadership experience and ability to act as Technical Lead on projects
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office) and AutoCAD capabilities
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required
