Position: HR Business Coordinator
Location: Mississauga, ON (Dixie & Eglinton area)
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm; possibility for hybrid schedule
Pay: $36.00 to $41.00 per hour
The HR Business Coordinator is part of the NAC team and will be responsible for establishing compliant and efficient HR processes for Canada, ensuring alignment with provincial employment legislation and supporting a strong HR operational foundation. This role will help build and streamline HR practices across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to Canadian requirements.
The individual will act as the primary HR specialist for Canada, designing, implementing, and overseeing compliant and scalable practices related to hiring, onboarding, employment policies, and provincial regulations. This position plays a key role in shaping a sustainable, future‑ready HR operating model that supports both local needs and global HR alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central HR point of contact point for the Canadian team
- Provide guidance on HR processes, employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.
- Evaluate existing HR practices to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Lead the onboarding, employee relations, and termination processes.
- Ensure accurate, compliant HR data management, documentation, and reporting.
- Lead communication and change‑management efforts related to new or updated HR processes.
- As part of the NA team, support other HR topics in the Area.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree – Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years HR experience with a strong focus on employment law compliance in Canada.
- In-depth expertise in provincial employment legislation (Ontario required; additional provinces preferred).
- Experience with HRIS systems
