Industrial Mechanic – Food Manufacturing

Moncton, NB

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to machinery breakdowns and perform mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Fabricate or replace parts using workshop tools (e.g., lathes, drill presses, welding machines).
• Maintain logs of completed work and parts used.
• Support installation projects and collaborate with electricians and other trades.

Requirements:

• Certified Red Seal Millwright.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Proficiency in TIG welding for stainless steel is a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience in a unionized, food-grade manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMPs, Health & Safety, and OHSA compliance.

Compensation:

• $40.00 per hour base rate
• Shift premiums
• Dual Ticket wage Premium
• Safety boot reimbursement
• Tool provided by the company
• PPE and Uniform Provided
