Parts/Warehouse Team Leader

Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse and parts operations including receiving, assembly coordination, picking, packing, and distribution
- Ensure parts and materials availability to support production, service, or customer order requirements
- Coordinate light assembly activities and ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time completion
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and system updates
- Monitor stock movement and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Use multiple customer and client portals to process orders, update order statuses, upload documentation, and track shipments
- Manage shipping and logistics coordination with carriers and freight providers
- Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are properly documented and system-recorded
- Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and resolve order or shipment issues
- Maintain warehouse organization, labeling, and safe material handling practices
- Support implementation and use of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory software
- Generate reports related to inventory, order fulfillment, and parts usage
- Train and support team members on processes, systems, and safety procedures
- Act as a hands-on leader, assisting with warehouse and parts tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company operating procedures
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in warehouse, parts, or inventory coordination roles
- Experience in a leadership or team lead capacity in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong understanding of inventory control, parts management, and order fulfillment processes
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor assembly work
- Proficient with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory software
- Comfortable working across multiple customer or vendor portals and online platforms
- Strong computer skills including data entry, reporting, and system navigation
- Ability to troubleshoot system, order, or inventory discrepancies
- Experience coordinating shipments with carriers and freight providers
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or related field (preferred)
