Job Position: Warehouse Put-Away Associate with Forklift

Location: Vaughan, ON (Steeles & Weston)

Pay rate: from $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Our Vaughan area client is seeking a Warehouse Put-away Associate to join their retail warehouse team. This role involves validating received products, putting them away in assigned bin locations, and supporting efficient warehouse operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Shift Hours:

Option 1:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Option 2:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Validate received products and put them away in assigned bin locations
• Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, order pickers)
• Re-stock inventory manually or with equipment as needed
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or damaged assets
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Follow all Health & Safety policies
• Maintain professional communication and appearance
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Licensed to operate Reach, Order Picker & Counterbalance forklifts
• Fall Arrest or Working at Heights certificate
• 3+ years of experience in a retail warehouse setting
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced, with exposure to industrial equipment and varying temperatures
• May require lifting, walking, and physical activity throughout the shift
