We are looking for a candidate with Commercial experience mainly, but some Residential is involved.
Responsibilities
- Manage lease administration for residential and commercial properties, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining lease documentation
- Process residential applications, including employment verification, references, and credit checks
- Set up approved tenants, maintain records, and track move-ins/move-outs
- Handle monthly rent billing, updates, additional charges, and rent increase notices
- Enter and maintain rent, CAM, and tax adjustments in Yardi
- Collect, process, and post tenant payments; follow up on outstanding balances
- Issue notices for non-payment and other legal requirements (e.g., N4, N5, N6, N7)
- Prepare and track legal filings with paralegals and ensure compliance with board orders
- Review, code, and process invoices for accounts payable
- Prepare deposits and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Act as primary contact for tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Support property projects (repairs, upgrades, renovations) with coordination and documentation
- Maintain organized records, reports, and filing systems
- Use Yardi and other tools for data management, reporting, and daily operations
Qualifications
- Experience in residential property administration (commercial experience is an asset)
- Hands-on experience with Yardi property management software
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Solid understanding of property administration processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
