Junior Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Newmarket, Ontario

70-75K start with benefits and room for growth

This role will involve travel to client locations in the US up to 50% of the time to for installation, commissioning and set up.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with conceptual designs and sketches for new product ideas
• Creation, Revision and modification of production drawings
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and bills of materials
• Work closely with Quality Assurance on product build and assembly
• Adhering to all assembly and production timelines, deliveries and schedules
• Act as point of contact with customer addressing any concerns, issues or change orders requests

Qualifications

• Post Secondary Education in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3 years of hands on Project Management experience
• Experience with AutoCAD, 3D Modelling Software and MS Project
• Experience in manufacturing environment with some hands on assembly experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel throughout Canada and the US as required.
