Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
Brampton, Ontario (Travel required throughout Southern Ontario)
Up to 110K salary plus benefits and bonus
Responsibilities
- Lead and support HSE staff, promoting consistency and best practices across operations.
- Monitor and report on safety performance, risks, and program needs to leadership.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and plant-specific requirements.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and investigations; ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Collaborate with management and staff to integrate safety into daily operations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and reports.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and communicate updates to the team.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in manufacturing.
- Relevant health & safety certification preferred (e.g., CHSC, NCSO, JHSC).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and risk management.
- Familiarity with hazardous materials, machine safety, and workplace safety systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
