Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

Brampton, Ontario (Travel required throughout Southern Ontario)

Up to 110K salary plus benefits and bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead and support HSE staff, promoting consistency and best practices across operations.
• Monitor and report on safety performance, risks, and program needs to leadership.
• Oversee compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and plant-specific requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and investigations; ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Collaborate with management and staff to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and reports.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and communicate updates to the team.

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in manufacturing.
• Relevant health & safety certification preferred (e.g., CHSC, NCSO, JHSC).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and risk management.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials, machine safety, and workplace safety systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
