Job Position: Quality Order Checker
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Shift: Day shifts – varying times
Summary
Our warehouse team is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Order Checker to support daily operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, verifying orders are fulfilled correctly, and helping maintain smooth warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will have experience using warehouse management systems and operating equipment such as counterbalance and reach forklifts. This position is essential to maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment while supporting shipping, receiving, and order picking activities.
Responsibilities
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and MRP software.
- Conduct order picking, packing, and labeling to ensure correct items are shipped to customers.
- Load and unload products using counterbalance forklifts, and reach trucks.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within warehouse management systems.
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including inspection of goods for damages or discrepancies.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and managing stock levels.
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order quantities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced e-commerce or distribution setting.
Requirements
- Minimum five years warehouse experience required, especially in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or inventory management.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) similar software.
- Valid licenses for counterbalance and reach forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Physical ability to load & unload products, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment safely. This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic warehouse team dedicated to precision and efficiency in distribution operations.
