Job Position:     Loader/Forkift Operator

Location:            Woodbridge, ON

Pay:                       From $22.00 per hour

Shift:                     Day shifts – varying times

Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Loader to join our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, ensuring the safe and accurate handling of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols to support seamless shipping and receiving functions. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts – counterbalance and reach
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately
• Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Assist in organizing warehouse space for optimal storage and retrieval of goods
• Follow safety guidelines during all loading, unloading, and material handling activities
• Support housekeeping or maintenance tasks related to warehouse infrastructure as needed

Requirements

• Minimum three years experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, etc.
• Valid license for counterbalance and reach forklifts
• Proficiency with forklift operation
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
