Job Position:     Warehouse Receiver

Location:            Woodbridge, ON

Pay:                       From $22.00 per hour

Shift:                     Day shifts – varying times

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments, ensuring seamless warehouse operations. This role requires familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment such as counterbalance and reach forklifts. The Receiver plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring efficient warehouse distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments using appropriate equipment such as counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks
• Inspect received goods for quality, accuracy, and damages
• Record receipt of items in the warehouse management system (WMS) and update inventory records accordingly
• Organize and store received items in designated warehouse locations following safety and efficiency standards
• Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping activities as needed
• Support order fulfillment processes by preparing items for dispatch
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize distribution workflows

Requirements

• Minimum three years experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving, etc.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) systems is a plus
• Valid certification for counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks required
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce fulfillment operations preferred
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently (up to 50 pounds)
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and inventory documentation
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Warehouse experience including order picking, load & unload activities, packaging, and order fulfillment is desirable
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
