Job Position:     Order Picker/Forklift Operator

Location:            Woodbridge, ON

Pay:                       From $22.00 per hour

Shift:                     Day shifts – varying times

Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, utilizing various warehouse equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. This role requires familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, forklift operation and warehouse management systems. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth warehouse operations by maintaining safety standards, supporting shipping, and receiving functions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick and assemble customer orders using warehouse management system (WMS)
• Operate forklifts – Counterbalance, Raymond Reach & Order Picker w/ fall arrest
• Load and unload products from trucks, ensuring proper handling of heavy items through heavy lifting techniques
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and update records in the warehouse management system
• Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including labeling, packaging, and documentation
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Support warehouse organization by maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals and deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum three years experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, etc.
• Valid licenses for Counterbalance, Raymond Reach & Order Picker w/ fall arrest
• Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation, clamp trucks, or other machinery is highly desirable
• Proven experience with order picking and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
