Job Position:     Warehouse Material Handler

Shift:                     Day shifts – varying times

Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Material Handler to become part of our warehouse team. The perfect candidate will be tasked with effectively overseeing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials within our facility. This position demands solid mechanical expertise, experience in operating forklifts, and knowledge of warehouse management systems. The Material Handler is essential in facilitating seamless warehouse distribution, precise order picking, and prompt shipping and receiving operations. Previous warehouse experience and the capability to operate equipment like forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and order pickers are greatly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using reach and order picker forklifts.
• Manage inventory by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order status
• Maintain safety standards during heavy lifting and heavy equipment operation
• Assist in shipping & receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Support construction or warehouse setup projects as needed
• Ensure proper storage of materials to optimize space utilization and accessibility
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures

Requirements

• Minimum three years experience in warehouse distribution or management systems.
• Valid licenses for reach and order picker forklifts, as well as fall arrest training.
• Hands-on experience with order picking, load & unload activities, and shipping & receiving processes.
• Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures
